Over the summer we will not meet in the Youth Room at 9:30, but in the Fireside Chapel. In cooperation with the Adult Ed Committee we are doing a summer series on Christianity in the last 2000 years, with food, games, and valueless prizes. Both adults and youth are invited.
Our session for June 5th will look at Corinth, in Greece, where some of Paul’s most important ministry occurred. We will have a Jeopardy review of events leading up to Paul’s ministry and some scholarly person will win a rubber duck. We will look at Corinth’s geographic importance and the impact of ancient pirates, and we will study how Paul’s ministry started the church down the path of becoming an institution. Was this good, bad, or inevitable?
