In addition to our regular Sunday services, CUC as several special worship services. These services celebrate different aspects of the church year. All are invited to participate, enjoy and worship God.
Christmas Eve
4:00 – children
5:30-families
7:00-traditional
9:00-contemporary
11:00 – traditional with communion
Renewal of Baptism, the second Sunday of Epiphany (Early January). A celebration of Baptism and renewal of Baptismal vows for all members.
Ash Wednesday – The first day of Lent (varies with calendar year, usually in February).
Stations of the Cross –Monday of Holy Week. In the Light
Maundy Thursday – communion and Tenebrae. Remembers Jesus’ last supper. 7:30
Good Friday – Friday of Holy Week. Remembers Jesus’ death 7:30.
Easter Eve – An Traditional Easter Service held on Holy Saturday, complete with
Flowering of the cross. 4:00
Easter Sunrise – Held at Arrowhead Golf Course. Usually at 6:15 a.m.
Easter Services, 8:00, 9:30, and 11:00, all three celebrate the flowering of the cross.
Cowboy Sunday,
Rally Day- A celebration of our fall kick off. Rally Day is the first Sunday after Labor
Day.
