Using Our Church

For a Wedding

A celebration of a relationship through marriage is a great event at Columbine United Church. Our doors are open to all people who desire to schedule a wedding. We invite people of other churches, guest clergy, and non-Christians to use our facility.

Working within the parameters of our three denominations our pastors also perform same sex Blessings or Holy Unions.

Our fees are on a sliding scale. The use of our church for your wedding is determined by availability. For more information please call the church office.

For a Memorial Service or Funeral

A memorial service at Columbine United Church is a celebration not a dirge. We believe that Memorial services should celebrate the gift of life and God’s blessing upon us. We strive to bring the very best of CUC to those who are grieving the loss of a loved one. We work with families, friends, and loved ones to make a memorial service a holy and inspiring celebration.

We celebrate memorial services on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s at 11:00 and 1:00. Receptions following the service can be arranged in our Biel Communion Hall.

Fees for a memorial service are based on a sliding scale. A fee of $500 dollars provides a pastor, a musician, a simple light reception and use of the facility.

If you would like to schedule a memorial service at Columbine please call the church secretary.
